Brightonian five piece AtticOmatic end a busy year by releasing The Bunker. Think English Teacher on a bed of Four Tet and you wont be far off. Twinkly electronica underpins smooth indie guitars and soulful vocals.
Vocalist/Keyboardist Kamran Kaur explains
“Today there seems to be more divide between different groups than ever. We thought of the bunker as an imaginary place to go at the end of the world where, for example, the privileged and able bodied would have the means to get there first – but once you’re in the bunker there are no hierarchies, the struggles of the bunker are everyones, no one wins.”
The band includes members of Flip Top Head and as well as selling out their own shows, have been busy supporting the likes of Nabihah Iqbal, highschool, whitelands and wonderbug. We look forward to seeing and hearing more from them next year.
