A first-time festival-goer’s guide to cowgirl-inspired style

69

I was never a big festival girlie. This isn’t because I don’t love live music (I do); Between the big crowds (I’m only 5’10 and the main stage in GA isn’t particularly suitable for little girls), extended periods of time in the sun, and expensive food and drink (in this economy?!), I’ve always made it a point to follow the action on social media from the safety of my couch. However, when T-Mobile invited me to experience Austin City Limits the magenta way, I jumped at the chance. It felt like kismet: I’ve been a T-Mobile girlie for years, and as a new Texan (I moved to Dallas over the summer), what could be more fun than channeling my inner cowgirl at the state’s biggest music festival?
