Boost skin elasticity and hydration by starting your day with this refreshing Glowing Goddess Collagen Smoothie recipe.

Made from frozen bananas and berries, and enriched with hydrolyzed collagen, this smoothie is perfect for breakfast, a midday pick-me-up, or a post-workout refreshment.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries or raspberries
  • 1 tbsp Biogen Collagen with Peptan 
  • 1½ cups milk or plant-based alternative
  • Coconut cream, for serving
  • Beet or berry powder, for garnish

Biogen Peptan Collagen Powder has 10g Peptan® per serving. Peptan®, a type 1 Hydrolyzed Collagen found in human bones and skin. Peptan® is a high purity natural bioactive product containing more than 97% protein (on a dry weight basis), supplied in a form that can be easily used and digested by the human body, as shown by scientific analysis.

Method

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen banana, berries), milk and collagen powder. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a serving glass, smear a layer of coconut cream or yoghurt on the inside for a delightful richness and a beautiful presentation.
  3. Sprinkle the inside of the glass with beet or berry powder, or crushed freeze-dried strawberries for a pop of colour.
  4. Pour the smoothie into the prepared glasses and enjoy your delicious, skin-loving creation!
