Another day, another celebrity #GRWM for us to obsess over. In her most recent look into her beauty regimen, Hadid films herself applying some of her favorite makeup products in the comfort of her own car (celebs, they’re truly just like us). Before she pulls out any cosmetics, Hadid starts by prepping her skin with Rhode’s Butter Barrier to create a smooth, plump canvas. “Not an ad, I just love my girl [Hailey Bieber],” she says in the video. After moisturizing, she whips out a classic editor-beloved skin tint, the Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator SPF 25 “It’s just a really good moisturizer that evens out my skin, and usually I don’t even wear foundation over this,” she notes.
Hadid further proves her keen taste in makeup by opening up the Allure Best of Beauty Award-winning Make Up For Ever HD Skin Face Essentials Palette in the Palette 1 colorway, which she calls “my love, my everything.” She taps into the light matte concealer-like shade to brighten her undereyes and smooth out her base. For further complexion coverage, she also applies the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer to spot-cover blemishes.
For her contour, Hadid pulls out a modern classic, the Fenty Beauty Match Stix (another Allure Best of Beauty Award winner, by the way), which she applies along the perimeter of her face and along the hollows of her cheekbones for a subtle, natural-looking contour. Hadid then uses a fluffy makeup brush and applies the Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur Loose Talc-Free Setting Powder in Translucent Honey to “bake her down to the Gods” and set all of these cream products in place.
Now that her contour is finished, she gets to bronzing by combining two bronzers. First, she swipes on the shimmery Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer, which she notes she’s been a fan of “for a very long time.” After a light coat of Hourglass’s bronzer, she’ll intensify her glow with the Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder, calling the shade Sun Embrace “one of my favorite colors ever.”
We love a drugstore makeup moment, and Hadid’s routine is filled with them. To fill in her brows, she reaches for the CoverGirl Clean Fresh Brow Nano Eyebrow Pencil (which isn’t the last time you’ll see the brand appear in this very routine, by the way). Then, she grabs a fluffy brush to apply the Fenty Beauty Freestyle Highlighter Duo to the apples of her cheeks and then swipes the shimmery product down the bridge of her nose with her finger.
Bieber’s makeup line isn’t the only celeb bestie/beauty mogul Hadid shouts out. During her routine, she whips out two now-discontinued, deep-cut products from Kylie Cosmetics: the Take A Walk On the Wild Side Palette and the Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics High Gloss in Can I Borrow That? “Kendall [Jenner] randomly slayed on this, it’s one of the best lip glosses ever,” she said of the latter.
Hadid used a brown shade from the Kylie Cosmetics palette to create a subtle smokey look along her lower waterline. Then, she lengthens the look of her lashes with a few swipes of the CoverGirl Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara to finish off her eye look. She then wraps up her under-5-minute routine with her go-to lip combination, which includes the Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil Longwear Lip Liner in Anywhere Caffeine and the now-discontinued Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss. “It’s one of my favorite lip liners ever,” she says of the former. Before she signs off, she spritzes herself with an Orebella fragrance (it’s her brand, after all), an earthy blend called Salted Muse that features notes of sea salt, pink pepper, olive tree, woods, amber and lavender.
