Lanolips Hyaluronic Lip Oil Review
[unpaid/sample] I love a new launch from Lanolips – they’re still a relatively small brand in the beauty space so their newness is always considered and never about keeping up with other brands. They’ve used their famously lovely Lemonaide Shimmer in the clear oil, called Honey, and I can assure you that the bubblegum pink of Raspberry isn’t nearly as lurid on the lips as it looks in the bottle.
If you’re a Lanolips fan, one thing you’ll know is that the oils and lanolin behave differently in winter in summer. It can go a bit stiff in the cold and that’s just an entirely natural state for the lanolin to be in. In summer, the tubes are immediately squeezy. As I’ve received this into the coldest kitchen outside of Alaska, the formula looks a little chunky but once it’s on the warmth of my lips it instantly comfortable and deliciously glossy.
There’s a claim that Lanolips Hyaluronic Lip Oil will increase the hydration of your lips by 60% over 30 days (but only 10 individuals in the trial which isn’t enough really) and obviously I haven’t had time to put this to the test – I honestly don’t care anyway because I know this brand inside and out and it has some of the best lip balms out there. Unless you are sensitive to Lanolin, all the Lanolips products give beautiful protection, soothing and smoothing lips along the way. Bigger lips probably isn’t the reason you’d buy Lanolips – well conditioned, cushiony and hydrated lips is and you’ll get that.
I like the tiny shimmers in Honey so that would be my personal preference and I’m already sending red vibes to Australia because, red. They’re £10.99 each and have very recently launched HERE.
