Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm Review
[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Whatโs supposed to happen when I receive product samples is that they are first photographed in pristine condition, then they head off to the bathroom to be put through their paces. They come back downstairs and join the queue of products to be written up. Can you see what happened to Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm? It went upstairs and didnโt come down for days because I liked using it so much. Thatโs basically what happens with most Tatcha products that make their way here โ itโs a brand thatโs very more-ish.

I will say at the outset that itโs expensive โ 54g for ยฃ40 (itโs on sale at Sephora though so Iโll leave a link at the end of the post). Cleansing balms nowadays can be much of a muchness but I loved the softness of this on my skin. As itโs a wash-off product, there wonโt be many deeper skin benefits so it comes down to the texture and efficacy.

There are so many โrulesโ about cleansing โ I say ignore them all and do what you like doing best and for me, thatโs using a cleansing balm that feels like a pleasure rather than a chore. Itโs interesting that luxury brands have very much taken note of the โexperienceโ and put their efforts into that rather than loading up with pointless ingredients so the packaging looks good. A repeat customer is like gold dust so expectations must be met. Cleansing lipids are particularly helpful to dry or sore skin โ compatible to your own natural skin lipids, theyโll replenish and seal in moisture without causing irritation โ additionally, a spot of Japanese Indigo calms irritation. Thatโs definitely the case with The Indigo Cleansing Balm โ it feels lighter in texture than many other balms Iโve tried but does a perfect cleanse with gentleness and ease. If youโre splashing out on a luxury balm, do take some extra time to massage it around your face before removing with a cloth โ your skin will thank you for the additional attention.ย Thereโs no tautness or dryness after this cleanse. Sephora has it for ยฃ34 HERE. A quick shout out as well for the Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask which is one of my favourites (as you can see and most Tatcha products get used to the end) โ itโs ยฃ27 HERE and yes I would, over and over ๐
