Hurricane Milton: Milton made landfall at on or about October 9 at approximately 8:30 p.m. near Siesta Key, Florida. It was a Category 3 hurricane with winds of 120 mph. Milton quickly weakened over land before emerging into the Atlantic. The damage was devastating as it moved over land from water, tornadoes and wind damage.
Heavy rain also occurred in the State, with over 13 in of rain in and around the Plant City area. There was approximately 19 in of rain in St. Petersburg with an unusual rainfall of 6 inches in a single hour. In Tampa, they received 12 inches of rain. As the storm moved over the State of Florida, rainfall exceeded 10 to 12 inches of rain in multiple areas. Most of the State of Florida’s rivers could not sustain such rainfall and began cresting their river banks and flooding the local areas nearby. Many local neighborhoods sustained up to 5 feet of flood damage due to failed infrastructure in the neighborhoods. Many pumping stations failed which caused more long term damage. Looking at the Tertiary Moon Chart for the time of landfall in the State of Florida chart, it is very evident that it was going to be an strange Hurricane in the news with the Midheaven/Neptune conjunction on State of Florida chart. The Tertiary Moon square Tertiary Neptune made the water damage even worse. The Neptune conjunction shows it will be a water Hurricane and as well as a catastrophic wind (Uranus Op MC) hurricane. There were 46 confirmed tornadoes (Uranus Op MC) that touched down in Florida. The damage from the hurricane and tornadoes surpassed the $85 billion total damage. If you look at the aspects below, you can understand why Hurricane Milton was so devastating.
