Since the start of the year, the just-turned 50 year old has made the transition from a lob to a honey bob, pulling it off every step of the way. Tonight, Cruz opted for an even shorter, darker style as she donned Chanel, Moroccanoil hair products and some fairy-tale flair. “Penelope wanted a chocolaty copper vibe for a change!” shares global celebrity colorist Matt Rez. “She looks beautiful with warm tones.” Celebrity hairstylist Pablo Iglesias adds that inspiration behind the look were classic Hollywood movies from the ’30s. “They were full of glamour in black and white, mixed with all the characters from fairy tales like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.”
