Greek jeweler Nikos Koulis has opened his first international boutique at 26 rue Boissy d’Anglas in Paris’s 8th arrondissement—a two-floor space in an 18th-century building at the entrance of the Village Royal shopping district, neighboring Hermès, Prada, and Berluti.
The interior, designed in collaboration with London-based Bureau de Change—the same architectural firm behind Koulis’ Athens flagship in 2024—resists the conventions of luxury retail. The jewelry is displayed alongside a midcentury Kalmar glass chandelier, mirrors by Gio Ponti, works from Koulis’ personal art collection, and pieces from his moNO sculpture line.
Koulis’ fine jewelry collection, carried at Bergdorf Goodman, ranges from approximately $5,000 to $38,000, with high jewelry one-of-a-kinds priced considerably higher. The house operates on two tiers: accessible fine jewelry collections (including the Oui and Feelings lines), and unique high jewelry pieces featuring exceptional stones in proprietary cuts.
Koulis trained in gemology and glyptography at the GIA before founding the maison in 2006, and that technical foundation shows up specifically in his work: The designer is known for its proprietary approach to enamel application, geometric silhouettes that depend on precise engineering rather than stone weight, and sourcing of nonstandard cuts that most houses wouldn’t consider commercially viable. The 2020 GEM Award and multiple Couture Design Awards have given the brand trade credibility alongside its collector following.
The moNO line—numbered sculptural objects and furniture in hammered and mirror-finished bronze—debuted in April 2026 at PAD Paris, a design and art fair whose audience overlaps with jewelry collectors but is not dominated by trade buyers. Introducing moNO there signals that Koulis is positioning the practice across collecting categories rather than deepening within the jewelry channel alone.
