There is no wrong time to wear white denim, but something about a crisp pair of white jeans in spring just hits different, ya know? Not only do they create an easy, immaculate vibe, they’re also extremely versatile and are an easy way to freshen up any look.
Until I stumbled upon these Levi High Rise Rib-Cage Wide Leg jeans, it had actually been more than a minute since I’d added a new pair of white jeans to my closet. The last pair of white jeans I bought were skinny-leg…so…it’s been a while. I love everything about them: the fit, the creamier ivory shade, and the functionality.
6 Spring Outfits With White Levi’s Ribcage Full-Length Jeans
When it comes to choosing a denim silhouette these days I am either leaning towards a baggier, barrel leg (like my beloved Free People Moxie jeans) or a high-waisted, wide-leg option. I went with the latter pair for several reasons: the first being that I already have three pair of Moxie jeans, and the second is I love how flattering and timeless these Levi’s look on. They also just so happen to go perfectly with a cute, Springy blouse (and they don’t look too shabby with a tee either).
Also, buying these jeans was a great excuse to purchase all the pretty tops for spring I’ve been eyeing as of late. Let’s get into all the ways I’m wearing white jeans this spring.
Outfit 1: WAYF’s Linen Polka Dot Shell
This WAYF Linen Blend Polka Dot Sleeveless Shell (and the matching mini skirt) has been my best purchase of spring so far. I am really loving the Pretty Woman vibes and I’ve been seeing SO MANY cute polka dot options lately that I really think polka dots will be trending for a long time. Not to mention, polka dots will never go out of style, yet they’re fun, and super easy to wear…especially with these white jeans.

Fit Notes: The top runs TTS and is 55% linen and 45% rayon. The jeans run true to size (way to go Levi’s!) and have a super high waist (which is true to Levi’s Ribcage styles). They have a 32″ inseam, a 22″ leg opening and a 12″ front rise. They come with a zip-fly and a five-pocket style and they are 100% cotton. The color ‘Barely Freezing’ is closer to ivory than true white and they are my favorite white wide leg jeans ever.
Outfit 2: Black Free People Jae Button-Up Top
It’s hard to tell in this picture, but the ornate lace pattern on this Free People Top is just gorgeous and the reason I bought it. Also, check it out in white, the lace is more noticeable, I think. It’s funny, but, for whatever reason, I don’t tend to buy much in black, especially when it comes to tops, I tend towards more warm tones or bright colors but I am so loving this top and how simple, yet put together this outfit looks.

Fit Notes: This semi-sheer lace top is 100% cotton. It has eleven working pearly buttons and it runs true to size. In the product pictures the color almost looks navy but IRL, it is most definitely true black.
Outfit 3: Free People’s Truly Yours Print Floral Top
Ooooh, this Truly Yours Print Crop Collar Free People Shirt is SO good! It’s lightweight and the perfect cropped lengthened for high-waisted jeans too. It also comes in a pretty light blue color option, if that’s more your style. I am loving how the red pops with the white jeans…for some reason this outfit is giving me Gilligan’s Island vibes, and I’m here for it (whether it’s giving more Gilligan or more Mary Ann is still up for debate). Now I just need a bucket hat and a rickety old boat.

Fit Notes: This darling floral print top is cropped and flowy. It’s 100% cotton, and lightweight and airy. It has a a v-neck and five working buttons.
Outfit 4: Floral Milkmaid ASTR The Label Top
There was no way I could pass up getting this pretty floral Milkmaid Top…it is 100% my jam. I love the fitted corset-inspired design and the romantic detailing. I had a hard time choosing between this blue floral print option and the very similar black and white option also by ASTR, because the unique neckline detailing stands out a bit more in black and white. But ultimately, I went with the floral print for the feminine feel I love for date night.

Fit Notes: This fitted top is lined with slight padding in the bust. The floral print is 100% cotton and the contrasting neckline is 100% polyester. It runs true to size.
Outfit 5: Steve Madden’s Eliana Denim Shirt
I’m still loving and wearing this Eliana Denim Shirt by Steve Madden. I’ve tried on A LOT of denim shirts in my day, and I can honestly say this one is a definite keeper for me! I’ve never had a short-sleeve denim shirt that I have loved as much as this one. I love the longer length and boxiness of the sleeves. The fabric is soft, is medium weight and it’s the perfect cropped length. Also, big bonus: snap buttons!

Fit Notes: This shirt is 100% cotton, made with premium non-stretch denim with snap buttons down the front, as well as chest snap-flap patch pockets. It also has interesting added seam work about halfway down. It fits true to size.
Outfit 6: Dolly Parton Oversized Tee
Gotta love a good Dolly Parton tee, and this one by Cotton On is perfection. I love any chance to show my love this amazing woman and her Imagination Library that offers free books to children all around the world. If you come for Dolly, you gotta get through me first 😉 Also, this tee comes in 11 different designs featuring famous artists.
