YSL Nu Incongru (12) Rouge Pur Couture The slim, matt lipstick YSL Nu Incongru (12) Rouge Pur Couture The slim, matt lipstick ($ 39.00 for 0.08 oz.) Is a dark pink with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was incredibly smooth and light with a rather velvety creaminess, which allowed the product to spread evenly and slide over my lips.
It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer that was worn well over six hours and was non-drying to the touch. There was a hint of product that got stuck in my deeper lip lines in the photo, but wasn’t enough to be seen in person – it also seemed to get smoother when worn.

Formula overview

The formula is said to be “weightless” and “non-drying”, which “lasts all day” with a “highly pigmented, matt color”. The texture has a smooth, velvety consistency – it was easy to apply but didn’t feel wet or traditionally creamy, more like a silicone-based primer. Most of the shades were applied evenly, didn’t separate along the contours of my lips, and were light and comfortable to wear.
The pigmentation was mostly opaque to opaque, and the color range appeared to pull more mid-tones and deeper tones with a significant number of reds. As a result, numerous shades lasted six hours or more, with red-based shades leaving very strong stains (my lips were often pink to fuchsia for the next day as well!). Some shades seemed to go on and on because of the color itself and the underlying coloring power! The formula didn’t dry out as promised.
The diamond shaped bullet may take a time or two to get the hang of it, but I didn’t find it difficult to use at all. The triangular tip has proven itself particularly well to obtain a sharper cupid’s bow shape if desired. The formula had a floral scent that was barely noticeable when applied and no noticeable taste.

Is a deep, red coral with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was smooth and velvety with a thin, light feel on my lips, but the product was more prone to any natural lip texture I had and dragged into my deeper lip lines.
However, it looked drier than it felt. It had mostly opaque pigmentation that lasted well over six hours, left a heavy stain, and felt neither drying nor moisturizing.
