Why tens of millions of Home windows 10 followers disappointingly have to attend to get Home windows 11

After weeks of rumors, leaks, and endless speculation, Microsoft has finally opened the lid on Windows 11. This blockbuster upgrade comes with a number of changes and features, including an acclaimed Start menu that includes system-wide search and applications recommended based on your habits. There’s also a new set of widgets, the ability to run almost any Android app alongside Microsoft apps, and better integration with Microsoft Teams.

Users will also be treated to less memory-hungry security updates, which Microsoft says will be 40 percent smaller. In fact, the company is so confident of the size of these updates that users should be able to download them over 4G and 5G data signals. Windows 11 is also more efficient, so it should use less battery life, and the Redmond-based company boasts that it will be the most secure version of Windows ever.

So that all sounds well and good, millions of Windows 10 users have to wait a very long time to get their hands on it.

Microsoft hopes to launch this new operating system later this year, but that doesn’t mean everyone can upgrade to it. It seems that a number of brand new PCs with Windows 11 pre-installed will be coming out soon. However, if you want to keep your current computer, the publication will be gradual.

That means some current Windows 10 users won’t see the new features on their devices until 2022.

Microsoft said: “The rollout plan for upgrades is still in the process of being finalized, but for most of the devices in use today, we expect it to be ready sometime in early 2022. Not all Windows 10 PCs that are eligible for an upgrade to Windows 11 will be offered an upgrade at the same time. “

Along with this slow introduction, the Redmond-based company has also said that there will be certain system requirements. If your existing Windows 10 PC is running the latest version of Windows 10 and meets the minimum hardware specifications, it can be upgraded to Windows 11.
