“The level of sophistication and attention to detail behind the Bitcoin scam that we have found is a hallmark of a well-designed and well-resourced criminal operation. These websites were created purposely to get users to click on anything evil – whether it be it is a scam, a fake app, or provides explicit and dangerous content. “
Watching pirated live streams of football and other sporting events online is illegal.
As recently as last December, over 7,000 people suspected of watching illegal live streams received a warning from the UK police.
The cease-and-desist email stated that anyone viewing pirated content could face a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
