When you’re utilizing Incognito mode in Chrome, Google has some excellent information

Android phones come in far more varieties than the iPhone, which could be one reason Android devices take longer to achieve a similar function.

Not all Android devices have face recognition or fingerprint scanning – or both.

As a result, there may be a wider range of settings for locking incognito tabs in Chrome for Android.

For phones without face or fingerprint authentication, Google may be able to use the unlock pattern or code from an Android phone instead.

It is currently unclear whether Google will extend this type of additional incognito protection to other platforms such as the desktop version of Chrome or Chrome OS.

Other Google Chrome news earlier this month announced that Google was working on yet another new security tool for Chrome.

The privacy and security auditing tool will be part of Chrome’s security auditing feature that was introduced some time ago.
