Use Chrome on Home windows 10? Do not ignore Google’s pressing recommendation

In a post on its Chrome page, Google said, “On May 21st, we received reports that Chrome was crashing unexpectedly for some Windows and Linux users. After investigation, we identified the root cause and released an update that solves the behavior .

Here’s what you need to do to get Chrome to run smoothly again.

For affected Windows devices, do the following:

• Quit any open Chrome windows.

• Open Chrome again. You will still see the broken behavior.

• Keep Chrome open for about 5 minutes.

• Quit Chrome after 5 minutes and restart Chrome. The behavior should be fixed.

If your Chrome browser has crashed, give this a try and hopefully it will fix the issues.
