And now, new photo editing tools can be added to the list of benefits of Google One membership.
As reported by Android Police, the Android manufacturers are introducing the formerly pixel-exclusive functions Portrait Blur, Color Pop and Portrait Light.
With Portrait Blur and Color Pop, you can create photos that lack depth. Portrait Light allows you to dynamically adjust the lighting in existing images.
This latter feature was only introduced with the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, which were released late last year.
Commenting on these new features, Google said: “Starting today, we’re offering Google One members some of the editing features currently available on Pixel as part of their membership. These effects transform your portraits using machine learning: Portrait Blur lets you change the background after snapping Blur and Portrait Light can improve the lighting of faces in portraits, both of which work for photos you have just taken or pictures from the past – even if the original image was not taken in portrait orientation.
