TikToker share what they’d put on to Trend Week and we have now some ideas

Have you ever attended Fashion Week in your own living room? For TikToker, the answer is a definite yes. The booming video platform is responsible for a multitude of internet trends these days, and it seems the challenge of the moment is to show what to wear for fashion week.

Led by developers like @evelilythrifts and @andoej, users are using the app (and now Instagram Reels) to demonstrate their possible front-row fits (think: black on black and oversized sunglasses for Saint Laurent; Gothic chic for Alexander McQueen ). Perhaps the coolest thing about it is the confirmation that you don’t have to spend designer dollars on designer results (@evelilythrifts cites brands like ASOS and Nasty Gal as one point of contact for their looks).

Given that Fashion Week has been largely digitized, what looks like a TikTok trend is now a reality for many. Whether you are preparing for virtual presentations in the coming weeks or just love a fun excuse to channel your favorite designer, scroll through to keep up with the new trend and then shop for front row looks that are on all four Fashion Weeks are tailored. And in case you’re wondering, yes, you can do this on a budget.
