This high-risk new development is impractical (no underwear, no bra), however I nonetheless find it irresistible

That’s half the fun of this trend, isn’t it? These peephole-like cutouts create a sense of tension when you initially look at them. However, after a while, you will find that this is the whole intent of the garment – curiosity, excitement, and, if we’re being honest, a bit of fear. As the wearer, I assure you that you have nothing to worry about – this trend just looks like it’s breaking at the seams, but it certainly won’t. Thanks to Marcia’s Instagram-friendly neckline dresses, Jacquemus’ famous diagonal button sweater, Jean’s cheesy cropped cardigans, and more, there is now a wide range of garments to choose from should you be interested – well, I’ll say it – impractical new trend . Yes, personally I’m a huge fan of this trend, but celebrities and fashion have also really liked this insightful new detail so we can only assume that this is only the beginning of the trend’s life cycle.

After over a year in sweat and leggings, it doesn’t seem like the worst idea to try a risqué trend, and I have a hunch some of you may even crave it. Check out some of my personal favorite pictures with this new trend ahead of time and buy the parts you need to get the look.
