If I had to choose three words to describe the perfect home work suit, they would be comfortable, chic, and machine washable. That sums up this suit from the new BR Standard collection from Banana Republic pretty well. And omg, it’s the most comfortable suit ever.
For one, it’s stretchy. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never eaten as much as I did last year. Although I’ve always worked from home, I’ve never been home so often. Stretch pants and a blazer are an important bonus in my new #wfh lifestyle. I haven’t been cleaning in a long time either. Anything machine washable is a bonus in my book!
Since I’m much more casual these days, I’ve made the suit sportier by pairing it with a t-shirt and sneakers. You can also wear it with a blouse and heels or pretty flats when you get back to the office.
If you’re not in the bone color, the blazer and pants also come in blue and classic black (I’m wearing a size 0 for reference). I can’t recommend it enough. When I wear it, I feel like I’m wearing workout clothes. Case in point: when we were photographing this look, I happily grabbed a ball and started playing with a poodle in Beverly Hills. I can’t imagine doing that in my other suits! It really is the perfect suit to work from home, run errands, and walk my dog.
