The Google Play Retailer ban is now not Huawei’s largest downside

As Android Authority reported, a new study by Canalys has shown the changes in the European smartphone market compared to last year.

And the report is not easy to read for Huawei.

According to Canalys, the P40 Pro manufacturers were ranked the fifth largest smartphone vendor in Europe in the first quarter of 2021.

This is behind Oppo and then – surprisingly – Apple, with Xiaomi managing to put iPhone makers in second place.

At the top of the stack is Samsung, the world’s largest smartphone maker.

According to Canalys, Samsung has a market share of over a third (35 percent) in Europe, Xiaomi over 23 percent.
