The Fall 2021 collections unveiled during Fashion Week are uplifting simply because they are exactly what we want to wear. Every designer’s new offering includes bright spots – a metal dress or a sequin boot (see you Victoria Beckham) – but those pieces are still very wearable, mixed with cozy knit skirt sets or oversized statement vests that are fun to layer.
If you are a fashion creative and enjoy mixing and matching, you will have a lot of fun incorporating the fall coordinate sets into your wardrobe. You have the option of keeping your prints consistent from head to toe, but changing the color scheme or just wearing a classic pattern like Staud’s Argyle.
If you want to tap into your sensual side, there are a variety of neckline designs to choose from that have just enough skin and that are actually quite comfortable (think turtlenecks with keyhole necklines or sweater dresses with open backs). It seems like designers have read our minds – if we want to invest in new clothes, we want them to feel special, even when they double as loungewear.
