The cut price Moto G100 from Motorola is aimed on the Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72

2021 is expected to be another big year for smartphones killing the flagship. Proven this theory, Samsung unveiled its new A52 5G and A72 devices last month, which feature liquid displays and large batteries on a very small budget. Next, Motorola wants some of the mid-range action with the company unveiling its newest Moto G100.

This new Android phone is packed with many Motorola features, including a huge 6.7-inch display that also has a 21: 9 cinema-style aspect ratio. And that’s not all, as it offers a high refresh rate of 90 Hz that makes scrolling through the morning news silky smooth and jerk-free.

Motorola also prides itself on the fact that its new display offers a 25 percent larger color range and an HDR10 certification, which should make the graphics look razor sharp and crystal clear.

When you rotate the G100, you will find a quad camera in the rear case. Thanks to its Macro Vision technology, this snapper offers numerous photographic delicacies such as improved night shots and better close-ups.

And the new moto g100 offers what is known as dual capture mode, which allows you to record footage with the selfie camera on the back and front at the same time.

Enhancing video even further is audio zoom technology. It uses advanced microphones to capture the audio of your subject while filtering out ambient noise and voices for a cleaner, more professional result.

This phone is one of the first phones in the world to use the latest Snapdragon 870 5G mobile platform. This chip provides fast performance for the phone and gives full access to fast 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Other extras include 8 GB of storage and 128 GB of built-in storage, which can be increased to 1 TB by adding a microSD card. The moto g100 is also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports charging with 20 W TurboPower, and there is even a headphone jack so you can plug in your favorite electrical outlets.

One final addition to the G100 is Ready For. With this function, you can basically dock the phone to content that is then displayed on a large screen such as your television. According to Motorola, Ready For offers its customers enhanced video calling, as well as the ability to view apps, video content and games on a larger display.

If all of this sounds exciting, the new G100 will hit the UK shortly for £ 449.99. This price even includes the new dock to enable Ready For.
