Space suitcase

Terra Moons Space Case Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($ 17.00 for 0.05 oz.) Appeared to have a greener base with an intense, multichromatic shift that went from warmer olive gold to lime green to pale evergreen to plum purple. The eyeshadow had a smooth, metallic sheen that was glossy, but that really showed off the layer in a variety of lighting conditions – no chasing those layers at all.

The texture was soft, smooth, and mixable, despite being more loosely pressed in the pan, so I would recommend using a lighter hand when working with it, but the formula itself contained a good amount of binder which helped minimize fallout. It had an opaque pigmentation that was worn well for nine hours before it faded a little.

Formula overview

$ 17.00 / 0.05 ounce. – $ 340.00 per ounce

The formula is said to have a black base and “intense color changes” which are best applied with the fingertip or a dry brush as they are “very pigmented and smooth”. The brand recommends not over-mixing them in order to “get the extreme multichrome shift”.

The blackened base was noticeable, but often it wasn’t quite as dark or as intense as I’ve seen other black-base multichromes, so they were a bit more forgiving if you faded them out a little too much. Most of the shades also did justice to the “extreme” part of the layer!

They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was slightly emollient but wasn’t too thick or too tightly packed in the pan so that the product could be easily picked up with a dry brush, as well as fingertips / dampened brushes if necessary. The eyeshadow is applied evenly to the bare skin and blended well around the edges. They held with me for between seven and eight hours before they creased visibly.

The cosmos

Terra Moons The Cosmos Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($ 17.00 for 0.05 oz.) Appeared to have almost a sky blue base with multi-colored shimmer / small twinkles that shifted from pink-lavender to cooler gold to green-gold to teal, coupled with a sparkly, metallic finish . It had ample color coverage with a soft, loosely pressed consistency that was rather fragile, so using a lighter hand would be ideal for that shade.

I also found that using a flatter brush helped to ensure an even pick up without having to press too hard on the surface. It lasted well for nine hours before I got weak.

Solar expansion

Terra Moons Solar Expansion Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($ 17.00 for 0.05 oz.) Has a softer black base with multi-colored sparkles that shifted from plum red to dirty green-gold to olive green to emerald green. It had an intense, sparkling, and metallic finish that resulted in a bit of rainfall when applied dry, although I had no issues with persistent rainfall while wearing it.

The texture was smooth, almost like a loosely squeezed cream-powder hybrid, so the binder helped the product stick evenly to bare skin and wear it longer. It took a good eight and a half hours before I wrinkled slightly.
