The latest update for the Galaxy Buds Pro is called version R190XXU0AUA5. So this is what you are looking for. Not only does it improve the noise canceling function, but it also supposedly improves the ambient noise function, as well as the speed of switching the voice recognition mode.
The latter automatically turns off noise cancellation when the buds sense you’re talking – quickly asking for directions to someone on the street or ordering a coffee – and only reactivating noise cancellation after about 10 seconds, enough time to hear an answer.
This isn’t the first update Samsung has brought out to its brand new earbuds. The first improved the Bixby Voice wakeup feature and adjusted the sound balance.
Galaxy Buds were given out as a giveaway to those who pre-ordered the most expensive Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone last month. These Bluetooth 5.0 buds cost £ 219 and feature a dual driver setup, replaceable rubber tips to create a seal in your ear, active noise cancellation and 360-degree audio. The carrying case, which extends the battery life of the Buds Pro, can be charged with USB-C or any Qi charger.
