Samsung Good TV homeowners have simply unlocked entry to hundreds of unique TV episodes

The hugely popular Hayu (stylized as “hayu”) reality TV streaming service is now available to watch on Samsung smart TVs in the UK and 26 other countries around the world. The subscription service, owned by NBC Universal, gives exclusive access to a range of US exports including Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Below Deck, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Married To Medicine, and many more. Shows can be viewed ad-free for a flat fee of £ 4.99.

Hayu launched in the UK in early 2016 to watch some of the biggest reality shows on the same day they aired in the US. Before it got to this side of the pond, viewers had to wait weeks or months to see the biggest reality television shows. Given that most of the surprises were revealed or discussed on social media after the U.S. airing date, international fans were able to dodge the spoilers for days. Hayu is already available on a number of platforms, including Sky’s NOW TV boxes and Amazon’s Prime video channels.

With the latest partnership, Hayu is now available on the world’s most popular brand of smart TVs. Samsung was confirmed as the world’s largest television brand for the 15th time in a row in February. Hayu is available as a standalone app for download on your Samsung Smart TV and is now available to millions more customers than before. Reality TV lovers in 27 areas around the world including the UK can now watch their favorite reality shows through the Hayu app, available on Samsung’s built-in application portal.

Hayu currently has over 8,000 episodes of some of the biggest names in reality television currently available for streaming. New shows will be added when they air in the US. The library of unwritten shows is divided into categories so new viewers can find the right show. These categories include Home and Design, Dating, Cooking, Crime, and Fashion.

“In 2021, Hayu – NBCUniversal International’s all-reality streaming service – expanded its presence to eleven new markets across Europe,” said Hendrik McDermott, Hayu Managing Director. “Our partnership with Samsung expands our sales and extends our reach within the Hayu territories by making the service even more accessible. With Samsung’s industry-leading range of smart TVs, reality fans can enjoy a premium, lean-back viewing experience with the very best in reality TV. “

Reality TV fans can subscribe to access Hayu’s full show catalog for £ 4.99 per month. The streaming service offers new customers a free 7-day trial version for testing.

If you are a new customer of the platform, log into Hayu by visiting hayu.com and creating a new account. Once you’ve created an account, go to the TV app store on your Samsung Smart TV and download the Hayu app. Click on “Login” in the first menu of the app and make a note of the pairing code.

When you’ve written down your pairing code, go to hayu.com and log into your Hayu account. Go to the “Settings” section of your profile, click “Pair TV app” and enter your pairing code. After a few moments, your Samsung Smart TV will be paired with your Hayu account. And hey Presto!

Samsung Smart TVs have a pretty comprehensive selection of streaming apps for customers. Apple TV and Disney + were launched with Samsung’s Tizen software, which powers the smart TVs, ahead of a number of high-profile competing operating systems like Android TV. For viewers at home, this means there’s little reason to go for a third-party set-top box from Roku, Amazon Fire TV, NOW TV, or Apple TV.

“In 2020 we saw an increase in streaming consumption on Samsung televisions. For the first time, it surpasses the linear audience in Europe and other global markets. And we’re very excited to be part of Hayu’s journey into OTT’s global expansion. By combining Hayu’s unique global appeal with Samsung’s world-class TVs and UX, we further strengthen Samsung’s content and service offering to millions of consumers. Consumers can watch and enjoy their favorite content with the best picture quality and wirelessly, ”said Richard Jakeman, Senior Director Business Development at Samsung Electronics.
