Unfortunately, according to GSMArena, it looks like the next entry in the Z-Fold series won’t solve a major S-Pen problem with the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
While it’s great that S S support is available for the Galaxy S range, there is one somewhat frustrating thing – and that is that the S21 Ultra 5G doesn’t have a built-in holder for the pen.
Unlike the Note range, you simply cannot pull out the S Pen and remove it from the bottom of the S21 Ultra 5G handset.
Instead, a separate case has to be purchased that contains a holder for the S-pen.
A similar workaround will be required for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, according to NaverNews from South Korea.
The outlet said the original plan for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was to build an S-pen holder into the device, with patents previously showing it.
