Panasonic’s rivals Samsung, Sony and LG are launching their intelligent new TVs

If you want to treat yourself to a new television, you will be spoiled for choice this year. All the major manufacturers, including Sony, Samsung and LG, have now unveiled their new TVs for the coming year. Last but not least is Panasonic. The Japanese tech company has now given consumers a glimpse of the shelves to come for the next 12 months, and it definitely looks like an appealing array of big screens.

So if you’ve held back on buying a new smart TV to binge Netflix or play your shiny new next-gen console, now we’ve seen the full range. What is Panasonic bringing to the table?

The highest bonus in the new Panasonic range is the new JZ2000, which was unveiled in January and includes automatic scene selection that adjusts settings based on what you’re watching. Sound is enhanced thanks to the side speakers and the TV has a rotating stand that allows you to get the perfect viewing angle.

This premium television now includes the new Panasonic JZ1500, JZ1000 and JZ980 series, which will be available on 65 “and 55” screens. Also new for 2021 are smaller 48-inch sizes, which means consumers have more choice. As with the JZ2000, these sets benefit from color matching by Stefan Sonnenfeld, Founder and CEO of Company 3 and a trusted contributor to some of the world’s best filmmakers.

There are a total of three new LED TV series for 2021: the JX940 series (75 inches, 65 inches, 55 inches, 49 inches), the JX850 series (65 inches, 58 inches, 50 inches, 40 inches) and JX800 series (65-inch, 58-inch, 50-inch, 40-inch).

The JX940 series will be particularly attractive to sports and gaming enthusiasts. First, like the newly announced OLED TVs, the JX940 also features the new HCX Pro AI processor, so it can automatically detect sports broadcasts and optimize the picture quality accordingly.

Intelligent Clear Motion also smoothes out dynamic actions for flicker-free viewing. The JX800 also introduces the Android TV operating system to Panasonic’s offering, making it ideal for accessing all streaming services available on the market.

Full prices will be announced in the coming weeks. Take a look at this area.
