This year’s SAG Awards were strictly virtual. Not to mention an hour. That made it difficult to enlarge all dynamic beauty details. Fortunately, thanks to some makeup artists and hairdressers, we’ve got a glimpse of the best beauty looks at the 2021 SAG Awards.
It was about the details for Kerry Washington. Her shadow not only complemented her Etro dress, but also her eye-catching manicure. Jurnee Smollett also gave us a lot to love by cutting precise strips with a pink pout.
When it came to locks, two stars really turned heads. Nicole Kidman’s slightly open fishtail braid was the epitome of relaxed luxury. Jamie Chung rocked seemingly effortless, two-tone waves that exuded a real Old Hollywood vibe.

Kylee Heath for Olivia Garden created a romantic fishtail braid to complement Nicole Kidman’s beaded Armani dress. The barber started by applying Philip B. Weightless Conditioning Water and Russian Amber Imperial Mousse to Nicole’s damp locks. Then she used the Olivia Garden Divine Wet Detangler Brush to brush the products from root to tip before blowing out the look with the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Professional Hair Dryer and Olivia Garden Essentials Styling Round Smoothing Brush for volume. The strands were smoothed with the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Flat Iron. After using Philip B. Anti-Frizz Formula 57, she gathered the hair on the right and split it into two sections to create the fishtail braid. The last step? Gently pull the braid apart and spritz a small amount of hairspray.

Prominent hairdresser Peter Butler gave Jamie Chung “bouncy, full, healthy hair”. He sprayed Voluforme on Leonor Greyl after roughly drying her curls. Then he applied a small amount of Leonor Greyl Éclat Naturel Styling Cream to the ends before curling. The look was completed with Leonor Greyl Laque Souple to keep everything in place.
