Obtain this Google Maps replace if you’re utilizing an electrical bike or scooter
Travis VanderZanden, CEO of Bird, said the move would help cities reduce congestion: “Through our integration with Google Maps, we are making it easier for individuals to take advantage of new eco-friendly travel modes and ultimately eliminate our collective reliance on congestion on gas-powered cars – especially in urban environments around the world, where most journeys are less than five miles. “
Spin, another dockless scooter company, also announced it would be rolling out the Maps app this week. The San Francisco-based company already has offices in Basildon, Braintree, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester and Milton Keynes.
Its CEO, Ben Bear, said the aim was to “make it just as easy and convenient to get around on bikes, buses, trains and scooters as it is in a personal car.”
