Speaking in a forum post about Cumulative Update for Windows 10 KB5001330, an NVIDIA representative said, “If you experience slow performance in games, see if resetting Windows 10 update KB5000842 will fix the problem.”
While this will help fix the issues reported with the April 2021 update, it is far from ideal for Windows 10 users. That’s because the latest version of Patch Tuesday brings a ton of security updates – for a total of 110 issues.
Nineteen of these security issues have been classified as critical, including a zero-day vulnerability that an attacker was actively exploiting.
If you roll back to an earlier version of Windows 10, PCs won’t get the protection that the April 2021 update offers. Since the April 2021 update was released, players have spoken to a variety of forums including Reddit, the Feedback Hub, and the NVIDIA forums to report on gaming issues they are facing.
