No want record is full with out these up-and-coming black-owned magnificence manufacturers

Back in August, Glossier announced the 16 recipients of its black-owned beauty company grant initiative – a (industry-focused) part of the brand’s broader commitment to racial justice and inclusion. To give you some context, the grant initiative offers advisory support and $ 500,000 in grants to “the next generation of beauty leaders.”

Unsurprisingly, the response was overwhelming. According to a statement on the Glossier website, the brand received nearly 10,000 applications. (Imagine how difficult it was to narrow the applications down to the last 16!) You can read more about the process, results, and recipient brand details here. However, as we enter the high season for gifts and beauty shopping, we wanted you to re-share Glossier’s list of emerging black-owned beauty companies in the hope that you will support and contribute to their growth and success. We recommend that you buy black all year round. However, the holidays are an especially auspicious time to look out for the companies you’re looking to invest in. We share 24 products from 12 different brands with the Glossier seal of approval. Keep scrolling!
