After weeks of rumors, Beats has finally revealed its brand new Studio Buds earbuds. These wireless headphones, which hit stores this summer, offer a wealth of features at an incredibly affordable price. At just £ 129.99, the latest from Beats are £ 30 cheaper than the standard Apple AirPods and Google Pixel Buds, to name a few competitors.
Fortunately, this comparatively low price doesn’t mean that Beats has cut its features. Instead, the Apple-owned audio company boasts that its Studio Buds will “deliver a high quality audio experience.”
This is mainly due to the 8.2mm dual-element diaphragm driver designed to help you get the sound booming to your ears with the usual bass that we expect from Beats. And that’s not all, because unlike the basic AirPods, the Studio Buds have Active Noise Canceling (ANC), which blocks all background noise around you for an uninterrupted music experience.
For those times when you need to hear ambient noise, there is a transparency mode that means you won’t miss your train or plane when announcements are made through the Tannoy system. With one tap you can block everything again and return to your song or podcast.
To make things even better, you get Apple’s clever Spatial Audio technology, which lets sound hit your ears from all directions for a far more immersive experience.

Of course, like all wireless Buds, you get a neat pocket-sized charging case that charges the battery when it runs empty. Beats says it gives you approximately 8 hours of playback before it needs to be topped up with the case for a total of 24 hours.
There’s also a nice Fast Fuel charging option with a quick 5 minutes in the case that offers an hour of music. If you lose them, don’t panic because Beats Studio Buds is the first Beats product to support both Find My on iOS and Find My Device on Android.
After all, the design should ensure that they can withstand the UK weather and your gym trips with an IPX4 waterproof rating and for the first time convenient one-touch pairing for both iOS and Android users.
“In developing such a small product, every minute detail was considered, analyzed and selected to optimize sound quality, comfort and durability,” said Oliver Schusser, Vice President of Beats and Apple Music. “Studio Buds are our smallest and most subtle form factor to date, but they keep Beats’ promise to deliver an impressive sound experience in a beautiful design.”
Beats Studio Buds will be available in the UK this summer for £ 129.99 and will be available in three colors, white, black and red.
