Burgundy
Natasha Denona Burgundy Macro Tech Eye CrayonNatasha Denona Burgundy Macro Tech Eye Crayon ($ 24.00 for 0.04 oz.) Is a deep plum with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was almost too creamy as the pencil tip tended to smear a bit from the pressure, but it was less of a problem when I was working with it on my lower lash line (which is more sensitive than my arm!).
It had opaque paint coverage in a single layer that was applied evenly and smoothly to my skin. The drying time was a little longer than average so it was very mixable and smearable, although it did pull out in a fine line or two so I had to go back and fix that. Once it was set I no longer had this problem. The eyeliner lasted a good nine hours before it looked visibly thinner to my eye, which was a long way from the marketed 24 hours.

Formula overview
$ 24.00 / 0.04 ounces. – $ 600.00 per ounce
The formula is said to have a “full payout” with a “soft, creamy glide” that is waterproof. The brand claims that they “[l]Hard-wearing and wipe-free, without transfer properties for 24 hours of perfection. The originally approved colors were pigmented – mostly opaque to completely opaque in one go – and had very smooth, creamy consistencies that took longer to dry.
The benefit of longer drying was that they were very easy to apply, mix and blur as desired. I found that on some foundations, such as the more luminous ones, the eyeliner could spread a bit as it dried out, so I had to go back in and soften the edge. Once it was dry, however, it no longer did so.
They carried longer, with thinning showing after nine hours, but they definitely didn’t come close to the 24-hour stance. The longest-worn eyeliners last between 12 and 14 hours for me.

Brown
Natasha Denona Brown Macro Tech Eye CrayonNatasha Denona Brown Macro Tech Eye Crayon ($ 24.00 for 0.04 oz.) Is a medium dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had an almost opaque paint cover that could easily be built up into full coverage.
The texture was very creamy, smooth, and smooth, which gave longer playtime to mix and match and smudge, although it always crept into my fine lines when I was wearing a Dewier base. I was able to go back and erase / blend again and the problem didn’t persist while wearing. This shade carried well for nine hours before looking thinner and slightly faded, despite being marketed as a 24-hour shelf life (sigh!).

Natasha Denona Black Macro Tech Eye CrayonNatasha Denona Black Macro Tech Eye Crayon ($ 24.00 for 0.04 oz.) Is a rich black with neutral undertones and a matte finish. It had almost opaque pigmentation in a single stroke that, due to its usefulness as a thin line, was easily seen through layering or in person.
The texture was very creamy, smooth, and had moderate slip so it took a little longer to cure, which resulted in a smudgeable formula, but I had to make sure I didn’t pair it with a more luminous foundation or I would have some migration as it dried out. I was able to diffuse / hide the line as it dried out and then had no further problems with the migration. The eyeliner thinned / faded a bit after nine hours of wear … which wasn’t even close to 24 hours of wear.
