The website added that Microsoft engineers are currently investigating the problem.
The official Twitter account with Microsoft 365 status also tweeted about today’s issues and gave updates to affected users.
The @ MSFT365Status tweeted, “We encountered a problem with a recent change to an authentication system. We’re rolling back the update to reduce the impact. We expect this to take about 15 minutes.”
The account also said the “problem could affect users worldwide”.
When the issues with Microsoft Teams began to emerge, users went to the social networking website, Twitter, to share about the issues they were facing.
One tweeted: “MICROSOFT TEAMS IS DOWN”.
