Kristen Stewart wears a bespoke Chanel column gown for the Spencer premiere in London
Kristen Stewart attended the premiere of Spencer at the 65th BFI London Film Festival on Thursday 7th October in a bespoke gray Chanel dress from the designer’s Fall / Winter 2018 collection. Kristen completed the look with Jimmy Choo sandals, steel gray eye makeup and a wavy undone lob, styled by Tara Swennen with hair by Adir Abergel.
Kristen’s custom-made gray Chanel column dress features intricate beading with embroidery along the hems. The dress is inspired by a similar design, Look 22, from Chanel’s fall / winter 2018 collection, complemented by the now sold out silver-gray sandals by Jimmy Choo Minny. Since the dress was so glittery, Kristen chose to be very minimal with jewelry – just a couple of silver rings – paired with a very casual tousled hairstyle. Hairstylist Abergel told POPSUGAR that he “fell in love with the Chanel column dress” because it was reminiscent of the glam of the 90s. “For the look, I wanted to recall the effortless style so many celebrities wore at the time. That casual undone wave that almost looked like she’d styled it herself.”
