A cool take on the cutout trend was seen on the red carpet at the CFDA Awards when Karrueche Tran arrived at The Grill Room. The model, who has shown a penchant for open-back ensembles and elegant areas of skin, stepped out in a fitted black suit.
Designer Latoia Fitzgerald, who recently made her Lionne catwalk debut, figured out how to spice up a traditional suit and found the perfect model to dress up her creation. Karrueches suit has two side cutouts near the waist and a playful open back. The top half of the suit could pass as a cropped blazer, but it actually attaches to floor-length pants for an extremely polished look. Karrueche kept the rest simple with a crisp white button-down and a few heels.
