Invoice Gates explains why he prefers Android’s iPhones and discusses his “greatest” flaw

The Microsoft co-founder attended a question-and-answer session with journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin about Clubhouse. When asked which operating system he preferred, Mr. Gates replied, “I actually use an Android phone. I often play around with iPhones because I want to keep track of everything, but the one I carry around happens to be Android. “

The fact that Android uses Microsoft software is the deciding factor.

He explained, “Some of the Android manufacturers pre-install Microsoft software in a way that makes it easy for me.

“You are more flexible in how the software connects to the operating system.

“I’ve got used to that.

“You know, a lot of my friends have ‘telephones’ so there is no such thing as purity.”

The software billionaire has confessed that his “biggest mistake of all time” was allowing Apple and Google to own the cellular market.

Microsoft was initially the market leader in the field of mobile software with its Windows Mobile operating system family.

In an interview hosted by venture firm Village Global, Gates said: “You know that the software world, especially for platforms, is a market that is all winners.

“So, you know, the biggest mistake of all time is the mismanagement I’ve made that has made Microsoft not what Android is. [meaning] Android is the standard platform for non-Apple phones.

“It was a given for Microsoft to win.”
