“I could use less sleep,” no one ever said. Working from home may be the new normal for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean it’s easier to stick to the recommended seven to nine hours a night. Studies show that one in three adults is not getting enough sleep and, without a doubt, you could consider me part of that sleep deprived group. While a variety of factors can affect the length and quality of sleep, I’ve found that my bedding plays an important role. Upgrading your mattress is a solid first step, but great feel bedding really goes the extra mile to transform nights in bed.
Along with turning off my thermostat and turning off all bedroom lights to create a cool, dark environment, upgrading to soft, cozy sheets personally made a huge difference in falling asleep faster, and most importantly, non-stop. But good bedding isn’t just useful for sleeping, of course – it also made my Netflix binges in bed even better on weekends.
As a home decor lover, I have had the pleasure of trying some of the best bedding on the market. From the vibrant Brooklinen and Parachute brands to sustainable thinking companies like Buffy and Coyuchi, I’ve tried them all. For the sake of sharing, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite sheet sets of all time. Since I switched to these wonderful sheets, I haven’t felt like leaving the cozy oasis of my bed. Just a warning – you won’t want to leave yours either. Read on to read the full list of my thoughts on each one.
