Huawei’s Android rival is “beginning each minute” – will YOUR cellphone get HarmonyOS first?

As reported by Notebookcheck, there are reports from China that HarmonyOS was released to the general public via an OTA update.

A number of known leaks, including the Changan Digital King and Digital Chat Station Weibo accounts, say they either heard from users who received the HarmonyOS update – or could download it themselves.

While YouTuber CREATOR STUDIO also shared a video online that supposedly gives an overview of the general release version of HarmonyOS.

It has been reported that the HarmonyOS update first arrived on the Mate X2 foldable smartphone, which was only released earlier this year.

While Huawei said HarmonyOS was designed from the ground up, the alleged YouTube video of the software running on the Mate X2 shows that it shares a number of similarities with Android and iOS.

It seems that HarmonyOS has multiple home screens, app icons that can be expanded to show either more information or other options when you long press, and widgets.
