There’s no word on when this new operating system will be announced, but Microsoft has said consumers should expect more news soon.
In a statement originally published by The Verge, Nadella said, “Soon we will be releasing one of the most important Windows updates of the last decade to offer developers and developers greater economic opportunity.
“I’ve hosted it myself for the past few months and I’m really excited about the next generation of Windows.
“Our promise to you is that we will bring more options to every Windows developer today, and we will welcome every developer looking for the most innovative, new, open platform to build, distribute, and monetize applications. We look forward to sharing more soon . ”
