Hilary Duff wears a sheer corset dress for her second red carpet of the day
Hilary Duff brought bridal wear to her final red carpet appearance. On March 12, the How I Met Your Father actor posed in a peachy lingerie-style dress at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty with husband Matthew Koma. Covered in delicate floral embroidery, the alluring gown featured a corset bodice and sheer lace skirt.
With the help of styling duo Brit Hines and Kara Smith, aka Elkin, Duff accessorised her with a stacked pearl necklace and a metallic purple clutch. Her freshly trimmed bob haircut has been styled into wet waves to complete her chic, minimalist look. Koma complemented his wife accordingly, wearing a velvet tuxedo and bow tie in a matching shade of maroon.
Duff’s nude ensemble was a complete 180 from her first red carpet look earlier in the night. At the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars party, the mother-of-three wore a red Giambattista Valli ball gown with a halter neckline, tied with a coral lip and Norman Silverman chandelier earrings. Much like later that night, Koma wore another purple suit with no tie to accompany Duff.
It’s not often that the actress appears on the red carpet — her last appearance was at the Disney Upfronts in May 2022 — but she certainly made the rounds over Oscars weekend. Prior to the night of the ceremony, Duff also attended the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s “Night Before” party on March 11. She chose a different style of halter dress for the outing, which was stunning in a black and white Pat Bo piece tied together by pearls with a beaded neckline down the side of her dress.
