Google simply made proudly owning its new pixel extra enticing

Google’s Pixel 5 went on sale last October and featured some impressive upgrades over the Pixel 4. Perhaps the biggest change has been the inclusion of super-fast 5G mobile downloads. This allows owners to access the Internet at over 300Mbps when they are not on their landline broadband. At this fast speed, you could be downloading a blockbuster movie in about 2 minutes, which is pretty impressive.

In addition to faster web access, there’s also an improved dual-lens camera with better night photography, a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, one of the best battery life we’ve ever tested on a phone, and a bright 6-inch OLED edge to-edge screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

If those specs were wondering whether a Pixel 5 is worth investing in, Google has now given you an incentive to make the switch look a lot more attractive. The US tech company just announced a big sale that took the price of the Pixel 5 to a whole new low.

In fact, you can put this device in your pocket for just £ 529, a savings of £ 70 off the starting price. This discount is available through Google’s online store along with a few other UK retailers including John Lewis and Currys PC World.

In addition to the Pixel 5 price cut, there are a number of other Google devices that have also received a significant discount.

Right now you can buy the new Google Nest Audio for 79.99 euros, which saves you 10 euros compared to the introductory price. This latest smart speaker offers better sound, around 50 percent louder than before. It also includes a built-in tweeter and woofer for enhanced bass. The other big change is a new and very minimalist look where Google even hides the buttons behind the mesh.

For those who want something even cheaper, there’s the popular Nest Mini, which has dropped to £ 34 and saves £ 15. If you want a speaker with a screen, Google is offering its Nest Hub Max for 189 euros – and saves 30 euros.
