four denim developments which might be massive for 2021

I know most of us live in sweatpants, but it can be nice to wear “real” pants every now and then. If you’re like me, you reach for jeans first. That’s why I’ve dedicated a role to the four biggest denim trends of 2021. Here you can find more details on this as well as shopping for each:

Flare jeans

Flare jeans have been trendy for some time. And the 70s style will continue to be popular in 2021. My favorite part about this style denim is that it is incredibly long. Since I’m only 5’3, torches are generally long on me. That’s why I like to wear them with a chunky heel or wedge so that my legs look extra long.

At the moment I am combining my torches with sweaters. In spring and summer I will wear them with airy button-downs and armor.

Vintage straight leg

The moment I tried these straight leg jeans on, I felt like Monica from Friends. She always wore straight leg jeans on the ’90s show. I like the longer style. But they are also available in trimmed versions.

While it’s still cold, I wear them with sweaters and booties. But I really look forward to wearing them with simple armor and sandals when the weather gets warmer.

gray jeans

Gray is one of the top colors of 2021It’s not surprising that gray jeans are in there. I went for a medium gray wash gray, but all of the colors are stylish, from deep charcoal to more ’80s-inspired light gray acid detergents.

For winter I combine my gray jeans with black ones. When spring rolls around, I plan to mix up the two best colors of the year and wear my gray jeans with yellow tops.

90s baggy jeans

Basically, all of the 90s are back in style, including the baggy jeans I wore in elementary school. Back I combined them with tiny T-shirts with sporty labels. As an adult, I make the oversize style more feminine with classic tops like button-down shirts and sexier shoes like stilettos.

You can wear the baggy style with sneakers or flats. But it’s a lot easier to peel off when you have a larger frame. For petites, I definitely recommend wearing this trend with some sort of heel.
