Fall outfit ideas for women

Looking for fall outfit ideas for women? I love creating multiple ways to wear a piece. So this season I will continuously bring you 3 different ways to wear some of my favorite fall trends. Even though I’m pregnant, I design outfits that work for all body types (not just those with growing bumps like me!). So these are going to be regular women’s pieces and I’m only going to resize for the belly.

Keep checking back for new outfit ideas… and go to my Instagram Reels to see the outfits in video form.

{Look 3} Jeans: Paige maternity wear I Low shoes: Sam Edelman

Matching sets make dressing so easy. Here are three easy outfit ideas with cardigan and matching dress:

{Look 1} The Mini gives me 60’s vibes so I just added a pair of knee high boots for a mod feel.

{Look 2} A gold chain belt instantly brings a dress into the night.

{Look 3} You can easily turn the dress into a top by tucking the front into your jeans and blouse over it.

Strapless dress

Dress: Superdown {size M for the belly}
{Look 1} Jacket: BlankNYC I Pumps: Christian Louboutin I Earrings: Gorjana
{Look 2} Jacket: H&M I Booties: Steve Madden (similar here)
{Look 3) Vest: Sanctuary I Sweater Vest: Michael Stars I Pumps: M. Gemi

I love the minimalist ’90s vibes of a strapless dress (this one is under $100 and comes in three colors!). The style works all year round and you can wear it subtle or use it as a base for layers. Here are three easy outfit ideas with a strapless dress

{Look 1} I went for a monochromatic look by matching my dress with my jacket and lengthening my legs with nude pumps.

{Look 2} An oversized denim jacket gives the dress even more ’90s feel.

{look 3} You can easily turn the dress into a pencil skirt by layering it on top. I have a sweater vest and a long vest for a look that works in the office.

poncho dress

Dress: Lovers and Friends {size M for the belly}
{look 1} Boots: Goodnight Macaroon I Earrings: Missoma
{see 2} Poncho: Talbots I Booties: Crown Vintage
{look 3} jeans; Paige I Trench coat: H&M I Boots: Frye

Looking for something to hide your tummy this holiday season? Look no further than the poncho dress! It’s super roomy but just as chic as a classic sweater dress. Here are three outfit ideas:

{Look 1} Since the dress is on the shorter side, I added a pair of over the knee boots to balance the whole leg.

{look 2} Double the poncho, double the cozy style! If it’s colder I would add tights to this look.

{Look 3} The asymmetric hem of the dress allows you to easily transform it into a top by tucking it into a pair of jeans. I’m super into brown and black outfits lately, so I added a trench coat and boots.

Mini sweater dress

Dress: Steve Madden {size M for the belly}
{Look 1} Hat: Janessa Leone (similar here and here) I Trench: London Fog I Boots: Splendid
{Look 2} Jacket: H&M I Tights: Hue I Booties: Sam Edelman
{Look 3} Pants: Talbots I Booties: Marc Fisher (similar)

I can’t get enough of sweater dresses! Here’s a mini version worn a variety of ways for three easy outfit ideas:

{Look 1} For a monochromatic look, I played with different shades of cream and beige on the trench coat and accessories.

{Look 2} This dress is knitted coarsely and is therefore super warm. But for an extra cozy feel, I added black opaque tights and a fuzzy jacket.

{Look 3} You can easily turn a mini sweater dress into a top. Simply tuck the front and back into pants and blouse.

Oversized sweater vest

Vest: H&M {wears size M}
{Look 1} Dress: L’Academie I Boots: Goodnight Macaroon
{Look 2} T-shirt: Forever 21 I Pants: Talbots I Sneakers: Kenneth Cole
{Look 3} I Turtleneck sweater: White House Black Market I Jeans: Paige I Trench coat: H&M I Boots: Frye

Vests are a big trend right now. And there are so many different styles to choose from. I thought this oversized vest would be a great option for the holidays because it hides bloat…or a bulge! Here are three easy outfit ideas:

{Look 1} For school girl vibes, you can simply throw a vest over a shirt dress. I went with over the knee boots, but you could also do loafers.

{Look 2} An oversized vest is a great way to hide your hips and butt in tight pants like leather leggings. I casually styled the look with sneakers and a t-shirt.

{Look 3} A vest can add extra warmth worn over a fitted sweater or turtleneck. I’m loving brown and black at the moment so I paired a faux leather trench coat with my maternity jeans.

white sweater dress

Dress: Michael Stars {size M for the belly}
{Look 1} Jacket: Ann Taylor (similar) I Pumps: Sam Edelman I Earrings: Talbots
{see 2} Vest: Sanctuary (on sale!) I Booties: Sam Edelman
{look 3} Hat: Janessa Leone (similar here and here) I Sweater: sold out, but similar here I Boots: Splendid

I’ve always been obsessed with sweater dresses. And now that I’m pregnant, my obsession has grown. They’re just so stretchy and comfy! This ribbed dress is available in multiple colors. But I love winter white, so I went for the cream. Here are three outfit ideas:

{Look 1} I contrasted a motorcycle jacket with a pair of feminine pumps. This is one of my favorite pairs. I have them in several colors.

{Look 2} A long vest makes a fitted sweater dress more office-friendly for meetings. Besides, waistcoats are super in right now.

{Look 3} I turned the dress into a skirt by layering a chunky sweater over it. Then I decided on a tonal look with accessories in beige and cream.

Bustier knit dress

Dress: Milly {size S for the belly} – On Sale!
{look 1} Earrings: Gorjana I Necklaces: Electric Picks I Sandals: Sam Edelman
{look 2} Earrings: J. Crew (similar) I Pumps: Jessica Simpson
{Look 3} Hat: Brixton (similar here and here) I Sweater: Michael Costello x Revolve I Boots: Frye

I never thought I would ever wear a bustier when pregnant. But this dress is knitted to stretch! This way you look like a bustier while remaining super comfortable. Here are some ideas how I want to style the dress for the holiday season:

{Look 1} You can’t go wrong with a black dress and gold accessories. It’s a classic look that still fits this season’s ’90s trend.

{Look 2} A black dress is the perfect backdrop to show off statement shoes. How fun are these spring pumps?!

{Look 3} To make the dress more casual I added a cropped turtleneck and knee high boots.

Black jogger sweatpants

Joggers: Splendid {wears size M/ chosen larger for stomach}
{Look 1} Sweater: Talbots I Jacket: Majorelle (sold out, but similar here and here) I Slippers: Sam Edelman
{Look 2} Sweater: Talbots I Hat: Talbots I Coat: Zara (sold out but similar here) I Sneakers: Kenneth Cole
{Look 3} Hat: H&M I Blazer: H&M I Sweater: Talbots I Boots: Crown Vintage

These jogging pants are one of the most comfortable jogging pants I’ve ever tried! Here are three casual fall outfit ideas how to wear sweats outside:

{look 1} I’m really into rust tones for fall. I love the contrast between the soft cashmere and velvet and the leather.

{look 2} I brought in a touch of barbiecore with some hot pink.

{Look 3} A blazer instantly makes any outfit smarter. This one even has a matching hat! And these booties are insanely comfortable.

Tie Dye Dress

Dress: Lovers and Friends {wears size S}
{Look 1} Cuff Bracelet: Kendra Scott (similar) I Pumps: Christian Louboutin
{Look 2} Blazer: Bailey 44 (similar) I Necklace: Talbots I Boots: Kenneth Cole (on sale!)
{Look 3} Hat: Anthropologie (similar) I Sweater: Lovers and Friends I Booties: Marc Fisher (similar)

Tie dye isn’t just for summer. The print can also be super chic for fall outfits! Here are 3 ways to wear it:

{Look 1} I make the print stand out by keeping the accessories minimal with nude pumps and a gold cuff.

{Look 2} These are my black boots (so comfy!) and a blazer lets you wear a bodycon dress for an office outfit.

{Look 3} I turned the dress into a pencil skirt by layering a cozy turtleneck sweater over it. Then I added a colorful hat and white booties.

floral mini dress

Dress: Milly {usually 0, size up to 2 for tummy}
{look 1} Belt: Sold out, but similar here and here I Sandals: Ann Taylor I Earrings: Talbots
{Look 2} Cardigan: MMLaFleur I Boots: White House Black Market (similar)
{look 3} Pullover: sold out but similar here and here and here I Booties: Dolce Vita

I love autumn flowers! We don’t get a lot of fall leaves in Southern California, but I always have fall floral arrangements in my house. And this dress perfectly translates the feeling into fashion with its lively pattern. Here are 3 ways to wear it:

{Look 1} I let the dress take center stage by simply adding a chain belt and ankle strap sandals.

{look 2} This cardigan is one of my favorites! It’s a mix between a jacket and a sweater (perfect for travel). With boots, it makes the dress work for a meeting.

{Look 3} I turned the dress into a skirt by layering a chunky turtleneck over it. Then I added cowgirl booties to capitalize on fall’s western trend.
