EE prospects can benefit from the newest model of Microsoft Phrase, Excel and Outlook for FREE

EE customers can now enjoy the latest version of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote and more without spending an extra penny. That’s because BT’s own brand added the Microsoft 365 subscription service to their list of smart benefits.

It joins the long list of perks already available, including a free Netflix, Apple Music or BT Sports Ultimate subscription. Customers can also choose whether they want video streaming applications not counted towards their monthly data volume or whether they want to take their minutes, SMS and data abroad at no extra charge.

Smart Benefits can be changed every month so you can switch to Roam Abroad before a two week vacation and then switch back to a free BT Sports Ultimate subscription when you get home. Smart benefits can be configured within the EE Mobile App, which is available on Android and iPhone.

Microsoft 365 Personal provides access to constantly updated versions of the most popular Microsoft Office apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook. Plus, with Microsoft OneDrive, you get access to Skype and 1TB of storage. Your free subscription can be used on up to five devices at the same time, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

So you can sign in to your EE Smart Plan’s free account on MacBook, Windows 11 desktop, and tablet to work anywhere. Unlike buying Microsoft Office as a stand-alone purchase, the subscription versions of the apps are always updated with new designs, new features, and more.

If you want to get your hands on the free Microsoft 365 subscription, you need to make sure that you are paying for a Connected Device Plan from EE. This is a different scheme than the smart plans available with SIM-only plans (if you already have a smartphone that you are happy with, it eliminates the cost of paying for a new handset as part of your monthly bills) and pay monthly offers.

Smart benefits are also available when you purchase a new contract for a connected device, including a laptop or tablet.

Sharon Meadows, Director of Propositions, EE said, “We continue to seek ways to provide our customers with the best experience on our award-winning 4G and 5G network. Microsoft 365 Personal complements a number of great smart benefits that we offer and will help increase a customer’s productivity – whether they’re using a tablet, laptop, or other connected device on the go. “
