Dior Wild Brown (529) 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette ($ 62.00 for 0.24 oz.) Is a new (more) warm-toned, neutral color story with surfaces that ranged from matte to frosty. It did well overall, with some hues that could have been smoother or more refined in texture, which could be easily improved with a primer.

Wild brown # 1 is a soft, yellowed peach with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was smooth, finely ground, and velvety with a touch of powder. It had a semi-opaque pigmentation that stayed fine for seven hours so I would recommend combining it with a primer for better durability.

Wild brown # 2 is a brilliant white with subtle, warm undertones and a matt finish. It had a mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation with a soft, somewhat drier texture that could be applied more smoothly with the fingertip or a moistened brush. It took a good seven and a half hours before it visibly faded.

Wild brown # 3
Wild brown # 3 is a light peach brown with a silky sheen. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented with a smooth, moderately dense texture that was still thin and finely ground, making it easy to pick up and blend. This shade wore well for eight hours before noticeably fading.

Wild brown # 5
Wild brown # 5 is a deep reddish brown with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had an opaque paint release, but the texture was a bit firmer and stiffer so I had to use a heavier hand to pick up the product evenly. Fortunately, fading out wasn’t a problem. Fading marks were visible after eight hours of wear.
