Affected users can either manually reinstall Edge from Microsoft’s official website and then try to install the cumulative update again.

Alternatively, users can remove the Edge folder at C: Program Files (x86) Microsoft.

However, it has been reported that the latest Windows 10 cumulative update failed to install with different error messages. If so, the Edge workaround will not resolve the issue.

Also, some Windows 10 users have reported that the latest patch is about to be installed, but 73 percent fails and displays an error message.
