Now he’s focused on Pride Month as he collaborates with Burst on creating a rainbow face mask with a floss kit for those who still want to feel smart and safe while navigating a reopening world. The proceeds will go towards a $ 25,000 donation to The Trevor Project, an organization focused on suicide prevention among LGBTQ + youth.
“This year there is a lot of emotion when it comes to pride and I think everyone is just ready to celebrate the community and our culture,” Christian said as we chatted on the phone about his latest endeavor. “This whole idea of me as a designer to create something for Pride that people would be comfortable with and that they would use and wear fashionably made this a good partnership.” Christian is just as excited as everyone else to take to the streets, dance and enjoy what everyone is wearing. But as with most of the things he does, his focus is just as much on giving back to ensure an even better and fuller future.
