The US tech company has just announced the launch of its new AirPods Max cans, which, unlike their famous earbuds, sit over the ears for an even more immersive listening experience. This design puts them in direct competition with Sony’s award-winning WH-1000XM4 and the brilliant Bose Noise Canceling 700s.
On paper, Apple’s new headphones are sure to sound impressive. The US company prides itself on delivering a groundbreaking listening experience with its headphones.
The unique-looking design hides an Apple-designed 40mm dynamic driver that delivers rich, deep bass, precise mids and crisp, clean high frequencies.
You will also find that each ear cup is built with an Apple-designed H1 chip and advanced software to deliver the highest quality listening experience.
Utilizing the chips’ 10 audio cores capable of performing 9 billion operations per second, computational audio creates an experience that includes adaptive EQ, active noise cancellation, transparency mode and spatial audio.
If you’ve ever had an Apple Watch on your wrist, you’ll know the digital crown that lets you navigate the screen, and that wheel is on the too AirPods max. The digital crown was included to provide precise volume control and the ability to play or pause audio, skip tracks, answer or end calls, and activate Siri.
Like all headphones from Apple, the new AirPods Max can also be seamlessly connected to your iPhone and switch between all of your Apple technologies without having to go to the settings menu.
Once fully charged, they’ll play for around 20 hours with no need to refill. The AirPods Max even come with a soft, slim smart case that puts the AirPods Max in an ultra-low power state that helps keep the battery charged when not in use.
