The red carpet for the 2021 BAFTA Film Awards looked a little different this year. The fashion choices of our favorite stars came from the red carpet and virtual photo shoots at home. The moderators and nominees, moderated by Edith Bowman and Dermot O’Leary, kept us dressed again throughout the evening by providing insight into the fashion choices that ranged from shimmering dresses to chic suits.
The opening of the red carpet was a crowd from Louis Vuitton. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Phoebe Dynevor and Cynthia Erivo sported stunning designs from the brand’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière. We also noticed some standout trends like metallic and sparkling, silver and gold dresses worn by Mbatha-Raw and Erivo. Fringes on Clara Amfo’s black suit, Sophie Cookson’s Girgio Armani shoulder pads; and on the hem of Celeste’s vintage-inspired green dress.
